Oli Beaudoin was born in 1984. He began playing drums at the age of twelve, fooling around in various musical projects until he moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2000. From that point, he decided to follow the musical guidance of local top drum instructors and dove into different musical genres like jazz, blues, funk and latin to develop his own approach to rock and metal drumming. In 2002, he started working as a private drum instructor as well as playing as a session drummer for several bands in the Montreal area (ETERNAL BURDEN, OVIF, among others).
He formed the alternative metal band STAREBLIND in 2006 and then joined the metalcore formationENDAST (independent) in 2007 to help support a pan-Canadian tour for the release of their second studio album Odds Against Tomorrow. Things heated for him in 2009, as STAREBLIND (independent) released their first full-length album “Something Left Unexplained”, considered as one of the most innovative Canadian alternative metal albums of 2009. Coming right back from a gig as a percussionist for HOLLAND AMERICA LINE’s cruises to Alaska in the summer of 2009, he parted ways with his original band to join as a full time member the Montreal technical metal formation NEURAXIS(Prosthetic Records). NEURAXIS then entered the studio in early 2010 to record their groundbreaking sixth effort called “Asylon” which was released in February 2011.
After 2 North American 6 and 7-weekers assaults with headliners DEICIDE and SEPULTURA playing for NEURAXIS during spring 2011, Oli left again his home country again in autumn 2011 for a South American raid with Austrian Metal Legends BELPHEGOR (Nuclear Blast Records) just before appearing as a clinician for the MONTREAL DRUMFEST 2011. He then took off right away with Norwegian Stars KEEP OF KALESSIN (Nuclear Blast Records) by the end of Fall 2011 for a North American tour with MAYHEM headlining. To kick things off for 2012, OIi stepped onboard the 70 000 Tons of Metal cruise from Florida to Cayman Islands for Canadian death metal pioneers KATAKLYSM(Nuclear Blast Records) to help secure the line-up.
Oli recently confirmed his involvement with KATAKLYSM for their 11th studio album that should be their most devastating effort to date. Born in 1989, Kong Depei is one of the representatives of the new generation of Chinese metal and began to practice drums in 2008. The first band which effected him most is “The Metaphor”, a brutal/black thrash metal band which he joined in 2010. He also became the drummer of Die From Sorrow, Crack and Lacerate in the same year. The fact that Kong Depei performed in four metal bands at same time as a drummer was unprecedented in China underground music history. People called him “Drumaholic”. He quit “The Metaphor” in 2012, as the band changed to the style of death metal. During these 2 years, he has grown explosively with his talent and diligence. Then, in the autumn of 2012, he accepted the invitation from “Death Pact”. The destiny of these bands were changed, as he brought vitality and freshness to them, and also to the depressed Chinese extreme metal circle. These four bands act as guest bands to a variety famous metal bands after he became a member, such as Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Havoc, Children of Bodom, Destruction, etc. He desires to be a sick drummer.

His teenage years would be filled with rehearsals and playing various gigs, all the while honing his skills. In 1998 Dross attended Los Angeles Recording Workshop in North Hollywood, California where he earned his degree as an Audio Engineer. In 1999 he began to form a Symphonic Black Metal band called Sothis. In 2004 Dross would play drums on, as well as produce the self titled “Sothis” EP that would ultimately receive critical acclaim landing the band the “Best Independent Release of 2005” by Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles magazine. In late 2007 Dross engineered and produced the band debut album entitled “De Oppresso Liber” which he mixed with Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) in Varberg Sweden. Once the album was complete, the band shopped the album and signed a three album worldwide deal with Candlelight Records. The latest, Dharma, offers an intriguing mix of melody, eclecticism, and tight ensemble playing with the likes of all-star guests including Khan, Brown, Swartz, Dave Mann, and Chieli Minucci. “I have really found my footing with Axis Percussion. These pedals really force you to become fully aware of what you are playing. They just can’t tell a lie. When I place my foot on the pedalboard, they instantly become part of my body no matter what technique I employ. Using the Ekit triggers during personal practice for certain styles of music helped me to be supremely consistent in the velocity with which I hit the bass drum as well as cleaning up my playing all around and has actually left me not even needing triggers for use in the extreme metal style of drumming. They are amazing for ALL styles of drumming. Not to mention the top notch team at Axis Percussion has been nothing but sincerely and genuinely sweet, generous, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with for years! I truly am blessed to be part of the Axis Percussion family!!! The old saying comes to mind, Often imitated, NEVER duplicated, Axis really are the best on the market… PERIOD.”

From a very young age, Jordan knew drumming was the one thing he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Jordan was born on June 8th, 1990 in Saint Petersburg, FL. He has grown up on classic rock idols: from KISS to Ozzy Osbourne and from ZZ Top to Led Zeppelin. “It’s the power behind the groove that inspires me”, he states as his biggest influence for rock and metal drumming. At age two, he received his first wicker drum and pair of sticks to play around the house; he hasn’t stopped the beat since.
Jordan started taking lessons in early high school from player/educator John Spinelli at Seminole Music and Sound. Jamming with local musicians, taking lessons from professional drummers, attending drum clinics and master classes are all ways Jordan developed his unique style and sense of stage presence.
Jordan’s drumming influences consist mainly of the power and vitality of metal drumming. Being a devoted fan of Pantera, Jordan was introduced to the heavy drumming style from Vinnie Paul, and Joey Jordison of Slipknot challenged Jordan to increase his creativity. Jordan also appreciates players like Shannon Lucas that took classic death metal drumming techniques such as blast beats and added more color and spectrum to those methods. He also admires the way percussionists such as Brent Easton and John “Funky” Blackwell, Jr. use a stylistic approach for funk and groove techniques.
Being comfortable behind a kit was more about channeling Animal from The Muppets than anything else for Jordan. Theatrical experience in high school put the lights in his eyes and kept him hungry for more stage time. By age fourteen, Jordan had already performed for a sold out crowd in Morsani Hall of the Straz Center in Tampa, and never lost sight of the big picture. He harnessed a lot of energy from local projects in the bay area to help him push forward and keep the ball rolling. From bongos to blast beats, from an orchestra pit to the main stage, Jordan has laid down the beat for whatever duty calls.

He became hooked on classic rock, heavy metal, blues and jazz. Brian worked at local music stores in New York, spending all of his money on drums and vinyl records. He has attended hundreds of concerts, constantly studying the drummers’ every move. After studying with many local teachers, including Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot), Brian began playing the local club scene with various bands. He joined the New York City based band, Station, opening for such acts as Joe Lynn Turner, Dio Disciples, and .38 Special. Brian has played the Millennium Music Conference, Great South Bay Music Festival, and the Rocklahoma Festival. Station released their first EP “WIRED” in 2013 which they recorded in Nashville with the legendary producer, Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Extreme, Dokken, Warrant). Brian has continued to work and record with Michael Wagener since the release of Station’s EP. Konstantin is the drummer for the American death metal band HATE STORM ANNIHILATION. Born in Bulgaria in 1988, he started playing drums at the age of 12 after watching the legendary Bulgarian drummer Venelin Venkov on a TV show. Getting into heavier and heavier bands, he naturally fell in love with the extreme metal genre. Konstantin eventually met George Kollias, his ultimate inspiration, took several drumming lessons from him, and was introduced to the Axis pedals. He bought a pair, and for the next 7 years he recorded, toured Europe and the States multiple times, practiced thousands of hours, and did countless shows with the SAME pair of Axis pedals, always with the same excellent results. Konstantin currently uses the Axis AK Longboards, which is a customized version of the infamous A-L model. The Axis AK pedals allow him to precisely execute complex beats, even at the extreme speeds he plays.

Jersey native Vinnie LaRocca always knew what Exit he was from; unfortunately, nobody across state lines knew what that meant. So, he decided to make a name for himself…. Vinnie sat behind his father’s kit, and quickly became a second generation drummer. He worked his craft and when he discovered Axis pedals, he discovered the smooth feel that would forever transform his playing style. Growing up in the shadow of Manhattan has eclipsed many artists, but Vinnie continues to thrive in the shadows and is now the drummer for New York City’s premiere Hi-Fi Sci-Fi Hard Rock Band, Atom Strange. Vinnie longs to push down the pedals on a John Deere mower, but until then, he continues to throttle his Axis pedals.

The son of a professional drummer, Mike got his first drum set at age three, started playing in clubs at age ten, had newspaper articles written about him by age eleven, toured the states by sixteen, and graduated from Hollywood California’s Percussion Institute of Technology with honors at age twenty-one.
In addition to recording various demo projects, Mike spent several years touring across the lower forty eight states of the U.S., as well as Alaska, and Hawaii performing in rock, funk, dance, alternative, disco, 80’s, and blues bands. He also spent two years touring internationally, including Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
Mike lists among his influences: John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge, Neil Peart, Ian Paice, and hundreds of others. Mike’s training consisted of formal instructions as well as extensive live performances.
His formal training was under the leadership of: Joe Porcaro (studio drummer), Casey Scheurell (Jean Luc Ponty), Doanne Perry (Jethro Tull), Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa), Efrain Toro (Tito Puente), and many others. His style combines musical versatility, pocket groove playing, steady meter with or without a click, and a highly entertaining visual performance that makes him a crowd favorite everywhere he performs.
Mike has used AXIS bass drum pedals and hi-hat hat stands exclusively since 1993, and currently performs in the #1 GigMasters cover rock band, The Trip, from Orange County California.
