Oli Beaudoin was born in 1984. He began playing drums at the age of twelve, fooling around in various musical projects until he moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2000. From that point, he decided to follow the musical guidance of local top drum instructors and dove into different musical genres like jazz, blues, funk and latin to develop his own approach to rock and metal drumming. In 2002, he started working as a private drum instructor as well as playing as a session drummer for several bands in the Montreal area (ETERNAL BURDEN, OVIF, among others).
He formed the alternative metal band STAREBLIND in 2006 and then joined the metalcore formationENDAST (independent) in 2007 to help support a pan-Canadian tour for the release of their second studio album Odds Against Tomorrow. Things heated for him in 2009, as STAREBLIND (independent) released their first full-length album “Something Left Unexplained”, considered as one of the most innovative Canadian alternative metal albums of 2009. Coming right back from a gig as a percussionist for HOLLAND AMERICA LINE’s cruises to Alaska in the summer of 2009, he parted ways with his original band to join as a full time member the Montreal technical metal formation NEURAXIS(Prosthetic Records). NEURAXIS then entered the studio in early 2010 to record their groundbreaking sixth effort called “Asylon” which was released in February 2011.
After 2 North American 6 and 7-weekers assaults with headliners DEICIDE and SEPULTURA playing for NEURAXIS during spring 2011, Oli left again his home country again in autumn 2011 for a South American raid with Austrian Metal Legends BELPHEGOR (Nuclear Blast Records) just before appearing as a clinician for the MONTREAL DRUMFEST 2011. He then took off right away with Norwegian Stars KEEP OF KALESSIN (Nuclear Blast Records) by the end of Fall 2011 for a North American tour with MAYHEM headlining. To kick things off for 2012, OIi stepped onboard the 70 000 Tons of Metal cruise from Florida to Cayman Islands for Canadian death metal pioneers KATAKLYSM(Nuclear Blast Records) to help secure the line-up.
Oli recently confirmed his involvement with KATAKLYSM for their 11th studio album that should be their most devastating effort to date. He will also be playing as live session drummer both for EX DEO(Napalm Records) and KATAKLYSM for summer 2013, including performances at BLOODSTOCK UKFestival sharing the stage with LAMB OF GOD, SLAYER and KING DIAMOND as headliners andBRUTAL ASSAULT in Costa Rica with CANNIBAL CORPSE headlining. Oli is also currently working on a multi-angle instructional DVD that should be released in early 2014.
David Bedell (formerly David Small), professional drummer, instructor and recording artist, was born in Springfield, Missouri and began playing the drums when he was only 3 years of age. At age 7, David realized his calling and knew exactly what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. The desire and drive to become a professional musician was coursing through his veins! Influenced by those closest to him, David found inspiration in his great uncle and jazz musician Dave Bedell and his uncle Larry Bedell. Both played integral roles in his growth as an accomplished drummer in addition to influences from such artists as the great Buddy Rich.
Dave began playing the Southen California club circuit early; at age 15 he was the youngest professional in the area. By the time he was recruited by Dick Dale at the age of 19, he was already a seasoned performer. Thoughout the course of his career, he has developed a signature style of solid time-keeping, always leaving room for the music itself to breathe, which has made him popular with other musicians on the bandstand. A strong player known for smooth technique and musicality, he adapts easily from genre to genre, conquering simple and complex passages with equal proficiency. Always seeking to improve his mastery of the craft, Dave has studied with a number of legendary performers including Roy Burns, Jim Chapin and Joe Morello. For the past 13 years, he has been a member of the California Music Teachers Association, encouraging students of all levels to realize their potential.
Dave has been a fan of Axis pedals since their introduction, and has used them exclusively since 1990. Currently he plays the Longboards X Double. “They’ve never let me down. They’re phenomenal… the action is smooth and lightning fast. They’re the best of the best!”
In his personal life, Small has been inspired by the philosophies of martial arts expert, Bruce Lee. As described by David, “Bruce can be completely devastating but at the same time be just as pleasant as the sunset. He is just so smooth and powerful but at the same time he is calm and gentle!” These philosophies play out in David’s unique and unparalleled drumming style as well as his teaching abilities.
David’s percussion skills have earned him involvement with an impressive list of projects ranging from an Arkansas-based, country-rock project called Gray Ghost to a casino gig titled Show Stoppers where Small showcased his distinct talent playing to the music of artists such as Michael Jackson, Shania Twain, The Temptations and Gloria Estefan. An extremely diverse musician, David is comfortable playing a multitude of styles including country honky-tonk, funk, jazz, blues, rock and everything in-between. A musician of many hats and musical styles, he is a true kaleidoscope of talent.
Traveling extensively, David has played venues around the world including dates in Brazil, Japan and Bahrain in addition to a countless number of U.S. cities. He credits his unique drumming style to his diverse experiences. “I just pull from all of the influences around me from Jazz to Funk to R&B,” explains David “and I turn it into my own style.”
David can be heard on various artist albums including F5’s ‘A Drug for All Seasons’, Matt Reardon’s follow-up album to ‘Reardon’, George Hughes’ ‘If It’s Alright with You’ and Avian’s ‘From the Depths of Time.’ On the local scene, David plays with several popular cover bands including The Robert Street Band and his own R & B/Funk band, HOUSEQUAKE.
Years of experience with live performances, studio sessions and countless hours of practice has allowed David to pass on unique drum teaching skills to his students. Always honing in on his craft, David strives to be the best musician possible and never settles for average results in his students. His extensive teaching roster is filled with students of all ages. Mentoring fledgling students into expert drummers is David’s greatest passion.
David’s current project is a three-piece collaboration with vocalist/guitarist Jarrod Parker and lead guitarist Lars Slate. This union proudly calls themselves Plush Society, a melodic rock group with a lot of promise, fresh out of the recording studio with an impressive 5-song EP. Plush Society offers strong hooks, great vocals, and undeniable musicianship. No matter what style of genre you prefer, Plush Society has universal appeal with no age barrier. With Jarrod’s soulful, edgy vocals, Lars’ blistering guitar chops, and David’s powerful yet steady drum pulse, they will leave you wanting more. Plush Society is best compared to a mixture of Dave Matthews, Match Box 20, Goo Goo Dolls, and Incubus. This band will soon get national attention.
To contact David Bedell, call him at (602)348-3360 cell or home (480)664-0227 email at: firstname.lastname@example.org “David is another of the generous drummers in the valley with no ego. David is very supportive and is always smiling. The dude smacks the heck out of his snare. Deep pocket. David is as genuine as anyone can get. He is EXCEPTIONAL at lessons. He listens and gets you to where you want to be. If you see him playing out, go say hi and acknowledge his talent. He’ll smile and thank you. Born in 1989, Kong Depei is one of the representatives of the new generation of Chinese metal and began to practice drums in 2008. The first band which effected him most is “The Metaphor”, a brutal/black thrash metal band which he joined in 2010. He also became the drummer of Die From Sorrow, Crack and Lacerate in the same year. The fact that Kong Depei performed in four metal bands at same time as a drummer was unprecedented in China underground music history. People called him “Drumaholic”. He quit “The Metaphor” in 2012, as the band changed to the style of death metal.
During these 2 years, he has grown explosively with his talent and diligence. Then, in the autumn of 2012, he accepted the invitation from “Death Pact”. The destiny of these bands were changed, as he brought vitality and freshness to them, and also to the depressed Chinese extreme metal circle. These four bands act as guest bands to a variety famous metal bands after he became a member, such as Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Havoc, Children of Bodom, Destruction, etc. He desires to be a sick drummer.

Dross (a.k.a. Jerry Foltz)
Primed by his siblings love for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, Dross fell headlong into his destiny when in 1986 he purchased a seventies-era Ludwig Vistalite six piece. His teenage years would be filled with rehearsals and playing various gigs, all the while honing his skills. In 1998 Dross attended Los Angeles Recording Workshop in North Hollywood, California where he earned his degree as an Audio Engineer. In 1999 he began to form a Symphonic Black Metal band called Sothis. It would take him four and a half years to complete an impressive lineup of some of Los Angeles’s most talented extreme Metal musicians. In 2004 Dross would play drums on, as well as produce the self titled “Sothis” EP that would ultimately receive critical acclaim landing the band the “Best Independent Release of 2005” by Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles magazine.
In 2006 Dross and the band went on a South West Mini Tour in support of the EP, which ultimately yielded their “Official Bootleg” DVD. The band would release one more independent DVD titled “Live In Mexico” before entering the studio to record their debut full length. In late 2007 Dross engineered and produced the band debut album entitled “De Oppresso Liber” which he mixed with Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) in Varberg Sweden. Once the album was complete, the band shopped the album and signed a three album worldwide deal with Candlelight Records. The album would ultimately be released on September 1st 2008 in Europe and September 2nd 2008 in the US and the rest of the world. Most recently, Dross partnered up with Sick Drummer Magazine as a writer and contributor. His regular monthly column is called “PLAYING SMART: A Drummer Guide To Modern Technology” and focuses on introducing the average drummer to the vast amount of tools available to them in the way triggers, sound modules, samplers and the use of soft-synths amoungst many other topics. His band Dharma All Stars blends various styles into a powerful blast of fusion that spans the extremes of the dynamic range, Favicchia has been busy touring and recording as well as stepping up to the plate with his own solo releases. His debut, World Time, earned rave reviews and was a Top 10 Critics Pick of the Year in Jazziz Magazine. The latest, Dharma, offers an intriguing mix of melody, eclecticism, and tight ensemble playing with the likes of all-star guests including Khan, Brown, Swartz, Dave Mann, and Chieli Minucci. Favicchia is all about the mindful side of playing drums of making music from the mind, for the mind. Definitely, he says, It’s all about the soul and the mind, but it’s very visceral as well. I’m caressing the sounds out of my cymbals in one bar, but when the music takes off and I start to wail, I take no prisoners.
Increasingly in demand for drum clinics and festivals, John has recently played such major events as:
