Scott grew up as the son of Midwest bandleader Dick Metko, where he started playing on Dad’s weekly TV show at age 10. Watch for Scott on discs by both artists in 2009. “I’ve been using the same Axis double pedal since 1998. The action is still as smooth as when I bought it. Look at the pedal footboard; it’s worn smooth with all the use and abuse! Can you say that about your pedal? By the way, the Axis hi-hat stand sure makes that hardware bag a lot lighter. Axis rocks!” Scott’s work can be heard on: myspace.com/scottmetko | myspace.com/davidball,www.adamfears.com.

After the passing of his father in 1986, feeling lonely and devastated he turned to music, eager to find comfort and to live out his fathers dream. Throughout the years, Josephs’ spirituality has grown immensely. Moreover, his skills on the drum set have become immeasurable, making him a “Drummer Extraordinaire” and the most sought after and called upon drummer. He has taken music and the art of drumming to the next dimension, while allowing his creativity to manifest itself into what God has ordained it to be.

He is often found saying, “Without God NOTHING is possible!” Josephs’ passion is to be a mentor to kids and minister the word of God not only through music and song, but also through the Word of God.
He is considered to be at the top of his game with no end in sight. Joseph’s spirit is humble and giving and his presence is that of a gentle oddity with a flare for the extraordinary. Joseph has had the pleasure of working with many great men and women of God, nationally as well as internationally. His professionism has opened the eyes of his peers giving them something to pattern their lives after.
Last, but certainly not least, Joseph is a loving, devoted husband to his wife Christie Oscar and a proud father to his four children Josiah, Isaiah, Elijah and baby Hannah. Joseph is truly grateful for the gifts, talents and abilities that God has trusted him with and he is found daily giving it all back to Him. “To whom much is given, much is required!” Luke 12:48 KJV.

Samus Paulicelli (born September 14, 1987 Ridgewood, New Jersey) is a multi-instrumentalist who has recorded and toured with many national acts including Decrepit Birth, Goatwhore, and Abigail Williams. Samus also played in various local New Jersey/New York bands during his early career including Mutiny Within, Suspyre, and Dark Empire. Despite being a talented one-man band in his solo project “66Samus”, he is best known for his drumming work with his technical death metal band, Decrepit Birth.
Samus began his musical endeavors at the early age of 2 when his parents noticed him playing drum beats on his diaper, so they started setting up the old pots and pans for him. A year later they purchased him a junior drum kit. He began drum lessons a few years later once he was old enough for someone to want to teach him, and that’s when it all started. Once Samus reached the age of 14 he had developed a keen interest in double bass drumming and realized that he had learned all he could from his local teacher, so he quit taking lessons and bought Mike Porntoy’s Liquid Drum Theater VHS tape. He has been teaching himself ever since.
Samus now resides in Winnipeg with his wife and is busy attending university classes full-time, while assisting Matt Sotelo with writing and arranging the next Decrepit Birth record. He is also writing new original material and shooting videos for 66Samus every other week.
“These pedals don’t just make me play faster, they give me more feel and control than any other pedal I have tried. They make my feet feel like machine guns. Simple amazing works of art.”

Mike Smith has been drumming for 25 years and is a founding member of New York Death metal pioneers “Suffocation.” Mikes drumming was first introduced to the Extreme metal scene in 1989 on Suffocation’s debut album “Effigy of the forgotten.” On this album he introduced a drumming technique now known throughout the metal community as the “Blast Beat” or “Smith Blast.” This technique is a main ingredient used in the drumming styles amongst the majority of Extreme metal bands today. His ability to push the boundaries of speed, while combining precision, groove and technicality has influenced a sub genre known today as Technical Death metal. What Mike Smith and his band Suffocation introduced to the scene was the first of its kind and continues to influence the path of many Extreme metal bands across the world today. I started playing drums when I was 7 years old. Bands like Iron Maiden, Rush, Slayer, Megadeth and such influenced my earlier playing. As I got older I discovered the death metal genre. I was totally blown away with the speed element. I had never heard anything quite that fast and brutal. Bands like Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Gorguts, to name a few really inspired the speed element. But it was an album called “Human” by Death and an album called “Focus” by Cynic, that made me understand how
to combine progressive into death metal.
One day a friend of mine lent me a CD called “Images and Words” by a band called Dream Theater. I had never heard of them so I gave it a listen. That changed my life. Seriously! I went out the next day and bought that CD and Awake which had just come out.

After being introduced to heavier music, he began to from local projects with friends. Evan is the relentless drummer for the Ohio based grindcore band, Drogheda (est. 1992). He was recruited for the band in 2009 for his belligerent, yet calculated style of playing. This ferocious and insanely speedy genre of music requires the rabid energy and stamina that Evan, a self-taught drummer, consistently delivers. Evan has been a devotee of the Axis brand from the inception of his drumming career. Axis pedals have the precision and speed that grindcore demands.
The band’s music is recorded exclusively at Evan’s home studio, Excrutiating Sound (Norton, Ohio). In addition to writing and recording, Evan’s current endeavors include planning Drogheda’s 2015 world tour and embarking on a career in the manufacture of drums.

Hector Torres (Drummer/Percussionist) was born in the musically diverse town of Tijuana, Mexico back in 1959. At a very early age, Hector learned that it was simply impossible to call one style of music his favorite. There was so much to hear and so much to learn. After making Los Angeles, California his new home at age six, he instantly began to explore new forms of expression using drums and or anything that sounded interesting by shaking or striking. In constant search of a new sound and beat, Hector has been working for many years in numerous projects in a variety of styles from Jazz, R & B, Salsa, Rock, Punk, Armenian, Brazilian, Folk, Iranian, Pop, Cape-Verdean and for the past nine years he has being the percussionist for a L.A. based contemporary modern dance company. Hector has toured Europe and America many times and will continue to do so always on that quest for that new beat.
Claude Hudson “Butch” Trucks is one of the founding members of The Allman Brothers Band.
One of Trucks’ first bands was local Jacksonville band The Vikings, who made one 7-inch record in 1964. Another early band was The 31st of February which formed and broke up in 1968. This group’s lineup eventually included both Duane Allman and Gregg Allman. They recorded a cover of “Morning Dew”, by 1960s folk singer Bonnie Dobson.
Trucks then helped form The Allman Brothers Band in 1969, along with Duane Allman (guitar), Gregg Allman (vocals and organ), Dickey Betts (guitar), Berry Oakley (bass), and fellow drummer Jai Johanny Johanson.
Together, the two drummers developed a rhythmic drive that would prove crucial to the band. Trucks laid down a powerful conventional beat while the jazz-influenced Johanson added a second laminate of percussion and ad libitum cymbal flourishes, seamlessly melded into one syncopated sound.
Said founding member and co-lead guitarist Dickey Betts of Trucks’ addition to the original band lineup, “…When Butch came along, he had that freight train, meat-and-potatoes kind of thing that set Jaimoe up perfectly. He had the power thing we needed.”
Trucks continues to record and perform with the Allman Brothers Band today.

Over the years, Eddie has clocked up over 7,500 working gigs between The Rogues in Upstate New York, Boomer in Arizona and plays well over 200 live dates per year. Of course, talent like this doesn’t go unnoticed, and thanks to connections with local talent agencies, Eddie is also a regional touring member of The Drifters, who I’m sure you know as Rolling Stone magazines #81 Greatest Artists of All Time, and 2nd in Billboard’s Most Successful Recording Artists. You don’t get that kind of recognition without some serious skills.

I’ve been surrounded by music my entire lIfe. My father was a musician so he turned on to bands like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles and Led Zeplin. When I was 13 my father bought me my first guitar and my brother his first drum set. Months later I realized that liked drums better and decide to pursue percussion. The first 2 years I was self taught , listening to a lot of records and CDs trying to duplicate the things I heard. After that I started to take drum lessons from Paul Riddle of the Marshall Tucker band for about year. And then I was introduced to heavy metal. Bands like Pantera and Metallica really opened my mind to a totally different style of playing. Eventually I got into more extreme genres like death metal and black metal and that is where my heart has been ever since. In 2006 I decide to peruse music as a career. In 2008 I joined The Sign of the Southern Cross they were signed to Season Mist and had raleased their first full length, Of Mountains and Moonshine which was released in America and Europe. We supported that album for about two years, then went into the studio and record our EP, I Carry the Fire. which was also released in America and Europe. In 2013, Your Chance To Die approached me and ask if I wanted to try out for a full time position in the band. I accepted the position. I recorded a full length, we toured and shot a video in support of the new record The American Dream which was release by Red Cord Records.
